The platform operates primarily in Kerala, enabling users to book services, manage job requests, communicate in-app, make secure payments, and track service completion.

Payment Data

ZapServe uses Razorpay as its payment processing partner. Payment information is processed directly by Razorpay and is not stored on ZapServe servers. ZapServe may receive limited transaction details required for booking management, refunds, cancellations, dispute resolution, settlement processing, and customer support.

Social Media Login Data

We may provide you the option to register using your existing social media account (e.g. Facebook, X). If you choose this, we will collect certain profile information from the social media provider. Please refer to the section 'How Do We Handle Your Social Logins?' below for further details.

Application Data

If you use our application(s), we may also collect the following if you grant access or permission:

  • Geolocation Information – We may request access to track location-based information from your mobile device, either continuously or while using our app, to provide location-based services.
  • Mobile Device Access – We may request access to your device's camera, storage, microphone, and location services (GPS) for worker matching, service delivery, navigation, and location-based service discovery.
  • Mobile Device Data – We automatically collect device information such as your mobile device ID, model, manufacturer, operating system, version, IP address, browser type, hardware model, and Internet service provider.
  • Push Notifications – We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or features of the application. You may opt out in your device settings.

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This may include your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, and other technical information. This information is primarily used to maintain the security and operation of our Services and for internal analytics.

  • Other Users – When you share personal information publicly (e.g. posting comments), such information may be viewed by all users and made publicly available. Other users may view your profile descriptions and communicate with you within our Services.
  • Offer Wall – Our application(s) may display a third-party hosted 'offer wall' that allows advertisers to offer virtual currency or gifts. A unique identifier (e.g. user ID) will be shared with the offer wall provider to prevent fraud and credit your account.

4. Do We Use Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies?

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like web beacons and pixels) to gather information when you interact with our Services. ZapServe may require workers, contractors, agencies, and other service providers to complete identity verification (KYC) before accessing certain platform features. Verification documents may include government-issued identification, photographs, business documents, and other information required for platform safety, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance. ZapServe reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend, or revoke accounts based on verification status and compliance with platform policies.

11. Payments, Cancellations, and Refund Policy

Payments made through ZapServe may be held until successful completion of the booked service. Cancellation charges may apply based on the time of cancellation and the service status. Refund eligibility, cancellation fees, dispute resolution, and payment settlements shall be governed by ZapServe's applicable policies. ZapServe reserves the right to withhold, reverse, or adjust payments in cases involving fraud, disputes, policy violations, or incomplete services.

Yes, we will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws. We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated 'Revised' date at the top of this Privacy Notice.
